We do not recommend using the snowboard sleeve alone on an open roof rack for the following reasons:

• Not Waterproof: The primary purpose of this sleeve is scratch protection and storage. The fabric is not waterproof; it will absorb moisture if exposed to rain or melting snow on top of a vehicle.
• Our Suggestion: For roof rack transport, we recommend securing the naked board directly to the rack or using the sleeve as an inner layer inside a waterproof, heavy-duty travel bag or hardshell case.
